A group of friends and I rented this fantastic home for 2 days and 2 nights.  The property owner was very nice, allowing us to check in on Friday anytime, and check out on Sunday anytime.  Typical check-ins are 3-4 pm Friday; typical check-outs are Sunday 12-1 pm. 

The house boasts 2 bedrooms on the main floor along with a very large loft space.  The bathroom in the loft has a full jacuzzi tub and separate stand-up shower.  There is also a private deck only for the loft.  

Along with the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, there is a full bath and open concept living space (Kitchen/DR/LR).  The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware, spices and appliances.  Bring your own food.  Flat screen TV and cable with Wifi are also included.  

The basement is fully finished and has another 4 beds along with plenty of floor space if needed.  There is also a half bath and laundry room.

The outside of the house offers great relaxation spaces.  There is a large fire pit out back, and a wrap-around deck with a BBQ.  The best part is the private lake across the road.  There are lounge chairs and a small rowboat provided.  Feel free to bring your own floating furniture or kayak.

Nearby activities include trout fishing, state hunting lands and hiking at Delaware Wild Forest (New York New Jersey Trail Conference map #144); if you are looking for some Catskill 3500's you will need to travel a bit further but still within a 1-2 hour drive.
