If you enjoy car camping, albeit without facilities, this campsite is a great spot to pitch a tent and enjoy the Catskills without the long drives on consecutive days.  There are no water sources and only 1 port-a-john, hence primitive. Each site (there are about 6) has a fire ring or pit so there is no need to build one; bring your own treated firewood or gather from the surrounding woods.  Leave no trace rules apply, so be sure the take with you everything you bring.

With its great location this is a perfect site for an overnight stay if you are looking to bag some of the Catskill 35's without having to lug your overnight pack to each summit.
