An easy to moderate out and back covering 2 Catskills 3500 peaks.  Afterwards, take a dip in the ice cold waters of the Peekamoose Blue Hole. Parking:   41.914922,-74.429044  Peekamoose Trailhead parking.  There are 3 other lots after this one, but this is the one in which the trail  begins. Miles: 9.5 Hours: 5-6

Splitrock Reservoir, Farny State Park, Rockaway, NJ

A great beginner hike with some rolling hills to get the heart rate up. Parking:   40.962611,-74.457665  Split Rock Rd, Rockaway Township, NJ.  The lot is actually a few hundred feet past these coordinates and is obvious once you see it. Miles: 9.5-10 Hours: 5-7

Mohonk Preserve: Giants Workshop, Labyrinth, Lemon Squeeze, Sky Top

If you love rock scrambling and gorgeous views, grab a map and knock yourself out. Parking: Mohonk Preserve Visitor's Center 3197 US Route 55, Gardiner, NY.  There is a $12 fee per person to enter the preserve from here ($26 per person from the Mountain House) Miles: 8-10 Hours: 5-7 

Tri-State Loop, Mt. Washington State Forest, MA
